The works originate in composition—the orchestration of a self-devised system of rules, geometric linear elements, the canvas as a pictorial space, and the transformative force of fire.

Through processes of condensation, displacement, and superimposition, structures emerge that oscillate between control and autonomy, order and transformation. Processes of form generation become visible as linear systems unfold, condense, and transform.
